Services that create income

NCFA COOP delivers a growing portfolio of services designed to respond to the real needs of members, while supporting community development and enabling collaboration with partners. Community Outreach/ Social Development

Implementation of community-based initiatives that promote social responsibility, mutual support, and inclusive development. These activities reinforce cooperative values and strengthen community ties.

Government Program Participation

Active engagement in government-supported initiatives such as DA Kadiwa, DOLE livelihood programs, and PCA agricultural projects. The cooperative serves as an implementing partner to extend benefits to its members and the community.

Training and Capacity Building

Organization of training programs, seminars, and knowledge-sharing activities aimed at improving agricultural practices, financial literacy, and cooperative management skills. This strengthens member capability and long-term sustainability.

Cooperative Governance and Membership Engagement

Facilitation of regular assemblies, consultations, and governance activities that ensure transparency, accountability, and active member participation in decision-making processes.

Short-term financing support for the purchase of fertilizers, pesticides, feeds, and other essential agricultural inputs. This service ensures that members can maintain optimal farm operations without disruption due to capital constraints.

Emergency Loans

Immediate financial assistance for members facing urgent needs such as medical emergencies, calamities, or unforeseen expenses. This service reinforces the cooperative’s role as a safety net and support system for its members.

Lending Services

Provision of accessible and affordable credit facilities to members for agricultural production, livestock and poultry raising, and other livelihood activities. The service supports timely acquisition of farm inputs, sustains productivity, and promotes responsible financial management within the cooperative.

Facilitation of market access for member-produced goods through cooperative-led trading and distribution. This service enhances income opportunities and strengthens value chain participation of local farmers.

Rice Retailing/Consumer Goods

Distribution of essential food commodities such as rice at accessible pricing to members and the community. This initiative contributes to local food security while generating sustainable income for the cooperative.

Agrivet and Farm Supply

Provision of quality agricultural inputs including feeds, veterinary medicines, fertilizers, and farm supplies at fair and competitive prices. The service supports improved farm productivity and promotes cost efficiency for members and the local farming community.

Farm Inputs Distribution

Coordinated procurement and distribution of agricultural inputs in bulk to reduce costs and ensure availability. This enables members to access reliable supplies at more favorable terms.

Field Activities, Member Engagement, and Community Participation

Agrivet and Farm Supply

On February 28, 2025, the cooperative proudly launched its Agrivet and Farm Supply Store in Kinabjangan, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte. The store quickly became our biggest success, contributing over 90% of the cooperative’s total revenue in 2025.
